Sorry about the lack of updates - I experienced a hard drive crash this week that has severely limited my ability to post. Also, the time and effort required by graduate school (and planning a wedding) have made if difficult to keep up enthusiasm for HeelsBlog, and for that I apologize.

Here are some thoughts -

The Tar Heel women looked good (Carolina girls always look good) in a test against Tennessee on Sunday night in Carmichael. The pace at which the women play tends to create turnovers, but the Heels handled the Vols, forcing them into sloppy play. And how about Alex Miller from deep as the shot clock expired? She is impressing me more with every game.

The men are out of action until they take on High Point Saturday night.
