One of the players mentioned is Uche Echefu, a forward prospect who will graduate this year. Roy Williams is hot on his trail, and the Heels are definitely in the mix to add to this year's class.

Rashanda McCants joins the Tar Heels' Women's basketball team this fall, just after her brother helped the men to the national championship. The Orlando Sentinel named Rashanda to their All-Southern team.

But while one McCants prepares to enroll in Chapel Hill, the other is making preparations to leave. Rashad has hired an agent, meaning he cannot change his mind about the NBA. Many North Carolina fans thought his sister might convince him to stay one more year.

I was one of those fans, I have to say. I hoped Rashad might want to be there for a year for Rashanda. Oh well.
